Step 1 – Using 5 Senses
Write a story that is close to your heart, even if it is an imaginary story or a fan fiction story. Therefore, how to write a story, using the easy writing process, with the five senses. Pen all your thoughts onto paper.
The five senses : See, Hear, Feel, Smell, Taste
The easy writing process, emphasises to use the five senses to be elaborated in your story. The writing process should allow readers to follow your thoughts and emotions. Connect your words and sentences. The writing flow should be a sequence of events that are running in one flow.
This way, your readers will be able to connect with your essay or story.
Step 1 Example : Using 5 Senses
Story Topic: The Traumatic Surgery
Written Paragraph :
The drumming sirens, drummed in my ears in this raucous African city Mogadishu, in Somalia. The crimson red lights of the ambulance alerted the morning sea of traffic to give way, as Father was semi-conscious and suffering to breathe. My heart pounded with beats of terror, threat, and anxiety, along with deep prayer as we reached the hospital gates.
Paragraph Debrief with Senses:
1. Drumming sirens (hear sense)
2. Crimson red lights (see sense)
3. The ambulance alerted the morning sea of traffic to give way (feeling sense)

Step 2 – Short Story or Novel
The writer can start writing short stories. Short stories will allow writing practice. Hence, readers will be able to understand the writer’s descriptions, emotions and thoughts.
Thereafter, writers can begin to write a novel. Especially, as they will have experience in writing a story with an easy writing process.
Writers can submit two or three short paragraphs, in the comment section. The author of this page, will give a free writing evaluation. Each paragraph will be evaluated of how to write a story – using the easy writing process.
Step 3 – Strong Beginning for your Story
A few strong beginning sentences are listed below. This will help writing a story in English.
The following sentences are listed in random order.
Begin the introduction, with any of the following :
1. Lightning streaks waltzed across the sky.
2. The ocean waves rippled as if it was crumpling on an azure-blue satin bed sheet.
3. The amber and golden sun rays gleamed with its hands spreading over the vast meadows.
4. Raindrops trickled on the asphalt pavement with sounds of pitter-patter, humming the sounds of music.
5. The vibrant rainbow hues complimented the clear sky, after the downpour of rain.
6. The vicious blazing fire sprinted through the forest, as if determined to destroy everything in its path.
7. Horror struck the quaint town, as an orphan was kidnapped in broad daylight.
Step 4 – Place of the Story (Setting / Location)
The location of the story must be introduced in the first paragraph. Locations should be described with enough details to explain the beginning plot of your story.
Example of Place (Location):
The skyscrapers seemed stitched to the polluted sky of the Asian city. The warehouse labourers were tortured as they were uneducated of the laws. In the meantime, some horrid poachers killed innocent wild animals for money, and stored the animals in the warehouses. Moreover, some of these factories were owned by the poachers, and the factories fumed with ebony-black smoke, causing havoc to mother nature. Planet Earth would die soon, because these owners drained harmful chemicals, flowing with grime and disgusting sewage, into the vast oceans. Soon, Mother Nature would not tolerate this disaster much longer. What would Peter do to save Planet Earth and the wrath of Mother Nature?
